Dear Abberly Green Residents,

The purpose of this letter is to inform you, not alarm you. Over the past two weeks vehicles have been broken into that were parked in surrounding communities. We are asking all of our residents to contact the Mooresville Police Department if they notice any suspicious or unusual activity. Keep in mind that all of the thefts occurred in vehicles that were unlocked.

Please allow us to remind you of a few things you can do to help protect your personal property as well as our community:

  • DO NOT leave valuables of any kind in your vehicle where they can be seen. Items left out in plain sight serve to “beckon” to criminals. Take all valuable items such as briefcases, cell phones, DVD players, GPS, laptops, and currency of any kind inside your apartment where they cannot be seen!
  • Report any suspicious activity to the police immediately.
  • Make certain that your renter’s insurance and your auto insurance are current.
  • Most importantly - Lock your vehicle!

The safety of our residents and their property is our number one priority. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call Mooresville Police Department.

Sincerely,

Ashleigh Fisher
Property Manager
