Dear Abberly Green Residents,

As you know, our community has one of the lowest crime rates in the area. However, the crime from surrounding areas, from time to time, creeps into our community. I feel it is our responsibility to notify you when this occurs, so that we can all take necessary precautions.

The purpose of this letter is to inform you, not alarm you. Over the past two weeks vehicles have been broken into that were parked in the Abberly Green Community. We are asking all of our valued residents to contact the Mooresville Police Department if they notice any suspicious or unusual activity.

Please allow us to remind you of a few things you can do to help protect your personal property as well as our community:

  • Please DO NOT leave valuables of any kind in your vehicle where they can be seen. Items left out in plain sight serve to “beckon” to criminals. Take all valuable items such as CD’s, briefcases, cell phones, DVD players, GPS, laptops, and currency of any kind inside your apartment where they cannot be seen! Even a handful of change can entice a criminal to smash your window to get to it!
  • Please report any suspicious activity to the police and the management office immediately.
  • Make certain that your renter’s insurance and your auto insurance are current.

The safety of our residents and their property is our number one priority. In response to these incidents the Mooresville Police Department has agreed to additional patrols of our community. If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please do not hesitate to call the office.

Sincerely,

Ashleigh Fisher
Property Manager
