When you step out of your apartment majority of the time the first place you go is to your vehicle. We all need to drive safe. Whether you live in an apartment, a house or in a mobile home using mobile devices or texting while driving is not a good idea.
DO APARTMENT DWELLERS DRIVE SAFER THAN OTHER PEOPLE?
Can your vehicle fit more gadgets in it? Is that safe? Maybe it’s not the gadgets but the drivers that are unsafe? We just need safer drivers…
Text Driving is Only the Beginning
Now a days more cars, SUV’s and everything in between are being made with more technology. Texting while driving is only the beginning. Several years ago new cars used to come with the bar bones of equipment and gadgets. But if you look at vehicles now you’ll see USB connectors for ipods and mp3’s, DVD screens in the head rests and doors and all types of creative electronics. You can see that more vehicles are coming standard with GPS systems and navigation devices. Many vehicles are even wi-fi ready, so you pull out of the car lot as a mobile network.
More Tech, More Gadgets Less Driving
The younger drivers are welcoming the technology, many of the older drivers can do without it. I personally say bring it on. My car is already like my office. I have my home office and my car office. Let me hook my laptop to the dash board and turn the car into surf city. Vroom! Vroom! (FYI that’s a joke)
It’s all about convenience and speed, mobile speed. But we really do have to be safer as drivers. Please do not text and drive. Texting and driving is illegal and it really isn’t safe at all. Pull over or wait until you get to your destination. Learn more from the No Phone Zone website.
