MLK Day is right around the corner. If you live in an apartment in Mooresville, NC and are wondering how you can observe this national holiday, take a ride to Charlotte for the MLK Holiday Parade. The first MLK Parade held in Charlotte took place in 1988 and has been taking place ever since. Each year the parade features a celebrity Grand Marshal.
What else can you expect? The City of Charlotte MLK Holiday parade features marching bands, Greek, community, civic organizations, local community leaders and much, much more. This is a great, free, fun event steeped in history. Come join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Where: The parade starts at 11th and N. Tryon and ends at Stonewall and S. Tryon. The main stage is located at Levine Ave of the Arts. Get there early to claim your spot along the route!
