Charlotte Pride is expected to draw 120,000 people to uptown Aug. 20-21. If you live in an apartment in Mooresville, NC, make plans to attend!
The two-day festival on S. Tryon St. will include close to 200 vendors and non-profit community organizations, community and headlining entertainment, arts activities, a kids and family zone and more. Last year's event attracted more than 120,000 visitors over the course of the weekend, making Charlotte Pride the largest LGBTQ event in the Carolinas and between Washington, D.C., and Atlanta.
The festival and parade are the signature annual events for Charlotte Pride, the leader in LGBTQ visibility in Charlotte and the Carolinas. We present and collaborate on programs, projects, and activities, including the annual Charlotte Pride Festival and Parade, Charlotte Trans Pride, Charlotte Latin Pride, and the GayCharlotte Film Festival, among others. Since its founding in 2000, Charlotte Pride has expanded its year-round programming and partnerships to better connect community members with its mission, vision, and values.
