If you live in an apartment in Mooresville, NC and you are looking for a great dining experience, head to Charlotte for Restaurant Week, or you can stay around Lake Norman. The semi-annual "Queen's Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week" will begin Friday, July 19, with 109 restaurants in the metro Charlotte area offering three courses or more at dinner for only $30 per person.
Participating Lake Norman-area restaurants include 131 Main and Alton's Kitchen & Cocktails in Cornelius; Campania Café in Davidson; Dressler's, Mickey & Mooch, Red Rocks Café and The Melting Pot in Huntersville; Epic Chophouse, Jeffrey's Restaurant and The Prickly Pear in Mooresville; and BRAVO! Cucina Italiana and Firebirds Wood Fired Grill at Northlake Mall.
This is the fifth year of Queen's Feast, an event that has more than doubled the amount of participating restaurants since 2008. In conjunction with this year's Feast, the event's planners have announced their partnership with the new social enterprise PlateShare, a mobile app for iPhone and Android devices that gives diners the ability to round up their restaurant bills to the nearest dollar and donate that amount to hunger relief. PlateShare donations during Queen's Feast will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, which serves 19 area counties.
Reservations during Queen's Feast are strongly recommended. For a full list of participating restaurants and table reservation links, visit HYPERLINK "http://www.CharlotteRestaurantWeek.com" www.CharlotteRestaurantWeek.com.
