Random Acts of Kindness, Anger or Hostility. Which will lead you to the Path of Happiness?
I personally have witnessed two random acts of anger in the last two weeks which prompted me to think about how the situations could have been entirely different if someone had chosen the kinder road. As a nation, we are stressed. This stress leads to health problems, relationship problems, and random acts of anger and hostility.
I can personally say that I feel MUCH better when I am nice to someone versus when I am short or angry with them. These random acts of hostility and anger are unfortunately CONTAGIOUS. People on the receiving end become stressed and are much more likely to treat others with anger and hostility. But on a good note the kindness that you share is hundreds of times more potent than anger.
I challenge each of us to practice random acts of kindness for the next 30 days, look to make it a habit. I believe that the results will be life altering and we may all find ourselves walking down the path of happiness.
